Over the Moon Goods is the brainchild of me, a 40-something year old who found herself at a crossroads, yearning to indulge her creative side. My goal is to create unique, one of a kind items for you and for your home. I promise to try to create products that feature fresh designs, colors and patterns created into stylish and appealing items. I will feature those items on this blog and on our website, www.overthemoongoods.com. This is all new to me, so I hope you keep checking back to see where my artistic path takes me. Thank you for sharing the journey with me.

A little something I have been working on.

The past several weeks, I have spent a lot of time perusing thru books and patterns and magazines for inspiration.  I started with a few pillows and then I became absorbed with crafting different lap quilts and throws.  Tomorrow, I plan to create a few other items and I will show those when I am done.  For now, I wanted to share what I have stacked around my work space.

so many beautiful colors and patterns

'Thru the Woods' hand designed and appliqued throw, backed in super soft chocolate polar fleece.

'Bora Bora', a festive variety of hand-dyed batik fabric, lightly quilted.

"Spa Day", a mixture of rich chocolate brown and aqua soft cotton fabrics, backed in chocolate brown and aqua print fabric.

One of my daughter's favorites, 'Morocco', tans, greens, browns and blues in spa tile, paisley and medallion prints, all lightly quilted.

'Daydream', cuddle up with a good book, or take a nap and dream.  Bright orange, pink, blue and green each paired with black to make a vibrant display.

Another favorite, 'Haight Ashbury', eclectic pink and brown prints.  My youngest keeps trying to steal it for her room.

'Bedford Falls', vintage inspired, hand appliqued, timeless.

"Daydream" in provencal blues and yellows.  Add a little whimsy to your French Country room.

'Metro', graphic black and white pattern with delicious green circles to warm the edges.
